Dubai's Bollywood connection

Whether it's for their films or functions, Bollywood superstars have always visited Dubai amid great following not only from their Indian fans but Arab audiences too. Not surprisingly, many have endorsed projects and products in the UAE - some have actually gone ahead to set up their homes here. According to reports in the Indian media, actor Shah Rukh Khan owns a house on the Palm Jumeirah, which boasts a private beach along with a 24-hour water patrol. 'I bought the house, because one can see the island from the moon,' the actor was believed to have said.\n
