Many killed in Egypt clashes

Scores of protesters have been killed after demonstrations erupted into violence in Egypt. Gatherings were held across the country to mark the 40th anniversary of the 1973 Arab-Israeli war, with the largest taking place in Tahrir Square, Cairo. Police and security forces arrested suspected members of the Muslim Brotherhood, and as the demonstrations grew, clashes broke out, leading to a number of deaths.
