Protestors clash as Morsi trial begins

Supporters of the ousted Egyptian president Mohamed Morsi clashed with police outside the Police Academy in Cairo where the former premier attended the first day of his trial. Morsi is charged with encouraging the murder of protesters demonstrating outside the presidential palace while he was in power, but the trial was adjourned after Morsi and fourteen co-defendants rejected the authority of the court and refused to wear a uniform.
