Why Why Why? Nakheel has Hundreds of Incomplete projects, They should finish them first. Jumeirah Park, Jumeirah Island, Jumeirah Village, Jumeriah Heights, Furjan, etc etc etc. The list goes on and on and on and on. Whats the point of "Pointe"?

As long as Nakheel increases their construction standard for shopping malls to the level of Emaar this new development has a good shot at being successful. If it's Ibn Battuta or Dragon Mart - we've got a different story...

Nice idea - but please change the architect though! Any development like this provides the opportunity to produce something special and the renderings show that it will be a faceless, generic venue which could be found at any one of a 1000 other places. A bit of creativity please.....
