The first phase of the restoration of the Coliseum, the undisputed symbol of the Italian culture, has been completed and the scaffolds, which protected the first 5 arches since October 2013, are now removed. \nThe restoration of the Coliseum has been supported by the Special Superintendence for Archeological Heritage of Rome and Tod's Group, which has invested 25 million Euros for the sponsorship of the project.

The spraying has been carried out at room temperature, without pressure or any additional substances or solvents, to fully respect the environment. The system is able to remove loose deposits of dust and to dissolve black crust while leaving the patina of time.
