Trayvon rallies held across US

A series of rallies and demonstrations have taken place in various cities across America to protest the acquittal of neighbourhood watchman George Zimmerman in the shooting death of unarmed African American teenager Trayvon Martin. Protests have been held since Zimmerman was found not guilty of second degree murder and manslaughter last, gathering momentum on an ad hoc basis until these co-ordinated rallies took place.
