A dinghy sailor who has been forced to give up sailing because of breast cancer, has been the inspiration for Ancasta to provide the Charity Squad boat for Breast Cancer Care at this year's JPMorgan Asset Management Round the Island Race.

Louise Massey, 43, from Weston-Super-Mare in Somerset, raced boats for much of her life until being diagnosed with breast cancer over four years ago.  Now despite undergoing rigorous chemotherapy and radiation treatment for the cancer, which has spread to her bones and liver, Louise is being given a once in a lifetime chance to compete in the race around the Isle of Wight, on June 28th. She and her husband Andrew, also a keen dinghy racer, will be part of the crew on a Bénéteau Oceanis 37 provided by Ancasta.

Ancasta is Europe's largest boat sales network and the UK's number one dealer for Bénéteau yachts which has become a partner sponsor of the race for the first time in 2008.  The company, which has a network of 22 offices in the UK and Europe, will be using the event to encourage people to raise as much money as possible for Breast Cancer Care.

Richard Allen, Sales Manager for Beneteau, says "The JPMorgan Asset Management Round the Island race is great and well established event, and the fact that it is now being used to raise money for charity is a great step forward.  I'm looking forward to taking Louise out for a fantastic day's racing."

Louise says: "I'm really lucky to have the chance to sail in this race. It's one of the world's biggest and most spectacular yacht races, with over 1,600 entries, and over 13,000 competitors taking on the 55-nautical mile course. I don't have the physical strength to race dinghies any more, but I'm really looking forward to being part of the crew on the Oceanis 37."
