Toshiba's smart handheld devices offer innovative fingerprint security.

Al-Futtaim Electronics, distributor of Toshiba products in the UAE and member of Al-Futtaim Group, today announced the UAE-wide launch of two new smart handheld devices the Portégé G500 and the Portégé G900.

Made in Japan, the devices operate on the Windows Mobile software platform since it offers users the security, reliability and an interface they are familiar with in their office environment.

The Portégé G500 and G900 are available at all leading electronics outlets and are priced at AED 1,499/- and AED 2,199/- respectively.

One of the first to use the new Windows Mobile 6 operating system, the G900 also packs in a range of exceptional features including an innovative fingerprint sensor, a full QWERTY keyboard, and the largest screen in its class (3" Wide-VGA) enabling enhanced internet browsing on the move.

The device also features a high quality MP3 player, video streaming, 2 mega pixel camera, PC phone integration technology and powerful WLAN, HSDPA, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth^TM connectivity.
