Desperate Housewives, Ugly Betty and Grey's Anatomy return with brand new episodes from their latest season following the writers strike
Press Release Content
Good news for Grey's Anatomy, Ugly Betty and Desperate Housewives fans the wait is over… Our favourite shows return to Showseries from Monday, 8th July with brand new episodes in a triple bill from 19:00 KSA which will see us through to the finales of each show before they reprise later in the year with brand new seasons exclusively on Showtime.
Critical conditions are plentiful in the not-to-be-missed brand new episodes of Grey's Anatomy fourth season. Time, specifically six weeks, has passed but sexual angst still runs rampant in the halls of Seattle Grace. Derek and Rose have been dating and Meredith has noticed the activities of her current off-again ex-boyfriend. Grey’s fans haven’t taken too kindly to Rose, the nurse that is stealing Derek’s attention away from Meredith. How much longer will she be hanging around? Join the staff of Seattle Grace Hospital as they learn there are easy cures for life’s challenges and that each choice comes in shades of grey.
Following on from Grey's Anatomy at 20:00 KSA is Ugly Betty, catch up on all the shenanigans and hullaballoo at Mode Magazine …With her multicoloured ponchos and can-do attitude, our favourite fashion anti-hero Betty Suarez returns with bolder, brighter and bettyer storylines than ever!
Expect more high-profile cameos including Lindsay Lohan, the 21-year-old will join the series for six episodes, playing a mean former classmate of the main character Betty. Other guest stars include Naomi Campbell and Victoria Beckham is rumoured to return after her successful role last year.
Prepare yourself for more fashion frenzy episodes…we return to find Betty celebrating her 24th birthday still wrapped up in the Henry-Betty-Gio love triangle and it seems to be building some major steam.
The writers strike couldn't have come at a worse time for the women of Wisteria Lane who round up our incredibly hot triple bill at 21:00 KSA. Ratings were up. The women were hot and once again Desperate Housewives was a buzz-heavy water cooler show.
In case you forgot what happened! Bree (Marcia Cross) and Katherine (Dana Delaney) bonded; Gabrielle (Eva Longoria) got zip in her husband's will; and a tornado devastated the 'hood, leaving Carlos (Ricardo Chavira) blind. Speaking of Carlos, Gabby will learn that her ex is permanently blind. Meanwhile, Susan (Teri Hatcher) helps Mike (James Denton) through rehab, Lynette's (Felicity Huffman) potential boy toy (Jason Gedrick) is back and Edie (Nicollette Sheridan) is back up to her old tricks which sees her going it alone.
Make an appointment with Grey's Anatomy, Ugly Betty and Desperate Housewives when they return in a triple bill on Showseries from Tuesday, 8th July starting at 19:00 KSA exclusively on Showtime.
