Press Release Content
Renowed Spanish jeweller spreads dazzling jewels featuring diamonds and precious gems.
Damas, the leading international jewellery retailer in the Middle East, presents the enchanting new collections of Magerit, the celebrated Spanish design house made famous by its sculptural approach to personal adornments.
Born out of an impulse to bring fresh ideas to the world of jewellery, Magerit marries nature and fantasy in three exciting new collections – Elegance, Nimfas and Sky. Crafted in 18 carat yellow and white gold, and accentuated by choice diamonds and precious gems, these jewels exude an otherworldly charm that has come to be associated with the Magerit brand through the years.
Tawhid Abdullah, Managing Director of Damas, commented: “Magerit is distinguished by the high degree of creativity, originality and exquisite finish of its jewels. The unique artistry of Spanish designers and goldsmiths has given way to highly imaginative pieces that are not only visually appealing but also rich in meaning. There is something for everyone in these collections and we are confident jewellery lovers across the region will be captivated by their unique beauty.”
Inspired by the majesty of swans, the Elegance collection flawlessly combines softness and sophistication. Full of mystery, its luxurious finishes transport the wearer to an unknown kingdom where precious materials such as yellow and white gold, black and white diamonds, and sapphires in a spectrum of colours, play a lead, giving each piece a wild charm evocative of nature.
Dreams come alive with the Nimfas collection. It invites the wearer to immerse in a world of fantasy through a luxurious array of jewels full of sensuality, magic and colour. Mythical nymphs embody this dream world in 18 carat gold floating between diamonds and bright coloured sapphires.
This tribute to dreams captures originality and outstanding quality of design, material and craftsmanship – special characteristics of Magerit’s jewellery creations. Nimfas is composed of pendants, rings, bracelets and earrings, and is entirely made in 18- carat white or yellow gold.
The Sky collection transports the wearer to nature’s lost paradise, reined by birds and butterflies. Wrapping the wearer with the delicateness of its designs, Sky evokes serenity through finely crafted jewels that reflect great attention to detail.
The collection is composed of pendants, rings and earrings and is entirely made in 18 carat white or yellow gold, featuring diamonds, sapphires of different colours, turquoises, onyx, mother of pearl and Tahitian mother of pearl accompanied by coloured silk necklaces, rubber necklaces and chains.
