Laserfiche® said today that together with its Middle East partners it will exhibit at GITEX Technology Week 2008, to be held in Dubai October 19 - 23. Featured will be the Laserfiche 8 document management suite and the new Laserfiche Rio enterprise content management (ECM) system.

Laserfiche President and CEO, Nien-Ling Wacker and Senior Vice President, Chris Wacker will attend the show and present Laserfiche's coveted Visionary Award to the Dubai Municipality, Saudi Arabian Airlines, and the Saudi Arabia General Organization for Social Security.

"We are extremely excited to share our innovative products, which are powerful, effective, and user friendly," said Nien-Ling Wacker. "Laserfiche 8 features a simpler business automation module that's built on the Windows Workflow Foundation engine and offers greater interoperability with Office applications, particularly SharePoint. Its enhanced system architecture eases firewall configuration and improves performance over wide-area networks."

The new Rio system provides enterprises with 100-plus users with a full range of functionality, including: Workflow automation, Web-based document management, audit trail tracking, and powerful capture tools that unify content located in disparate systems, and are included with each named user license. Additionally, Rio includes an unlimited number of Laserfiche servers and repositories, which organizations can use to support back ups, failover clusters, testing environments and multiple locations. Also available is DoD 5015.2-certified records management.

"Rio will help speed up the sales and implementation process for the customer," explained Chris Wacker. "To expand their systems, customers can simply purchase additional licenses, which eliminates long requisition processes and makes budgeting for an enterprise deployment much easier."

"Laserfiche prides itself on addressing the needs of its customers," said Middle East Regional Manager Sean Tang. "Our goal is to create solutions that are so user-friendly that IT staff thank us for making their lives easier."

GITEX, which is held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, attracts more than 130,000 visitors from more than 60 countries. Laserfiche will be exhibiting in the IT Solutions section with the BMB Group from Beirut, Lebanon; Integrated Solutions for Business (ISB), Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; Arabian Computer Supplies Co. (ARCOM), Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; Mazroui & Partners L.L.C., Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; and Kuwait United/KINKOS, Kuwait.

Other Laserfiche partners from Dubai who will be exhibiting include: Global Technology Services LLC in partnership with Oracle; Pixel Digital Systems LLC; and Solutions Middle East.
