Prince Alwaleed receives Mexican Ambassador to Saudi Arabia to discuss economic issues

HRH Prince Alwaleed bin Talal bin Abdulaziz Alsaud, Chairman of Kingdom Holding Company (KHC) received at his office His Excellency Mr. Arturo Trejo, Mexican Ambassador to Saudi Arabia.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Ahmad Altobaishi Executive Assistant to HRH the Chairman and Ms. Manal Al Shammary Protocol Department Manager.
The meeting began as the ambassador thanked Prince Alwaleed for giving him the opportunity to meet with him and relayed cordial regards from the Mexican President Felipe Calderón.
It was the ambassador’s first meeting since he took up his post as Mexican ambassador to Saudi Arabia. The two discussed economic, educational and social issues related to their respective countries and the bi-lateral relations between Saudi Arabia and Mexico.
Moreover, the Mr. Trejo commended the Prince on his achievements referring to him as one the world’s most influential investors in many sectors. His Excellency pointed out that Mexico hopes to develop trade relations between Saudi Arabia and encourage foreign investors to the country in the light of the investments opportunities available in Mexico. The Prince referred to KHC’s investments in Mexico that include Four Seasons and Fairmont hotels.
Furthermore the ambassador extended an invitation from the Mexican president to Prince Alwaleed to visit his country. In conclusion to the meeting HRH asked the ambassador to relay his warm regards to the Mexican President, wishing the government and people of Mexico success and prosperity, promising to visit the country in the near future.
