Prince Alwaleed receives Ambassador of Nepal to Saudi Arabia inviting HRH to invest in his country

HRH Prince Alwaleed bin Talal bin Abdulaziz Alsaud, Chairman of Kingdom Holding Company (KHC), received at his office, His Excellency, Nepalese Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Mr. Hamid Asari and an accompanying delegation.
The delegation included, Mr. Paras Ghimire, Minister-Counselor and Mr. Khadga Prasad Dahal, First Secretary at the Embassy of Nepal. The meeting was attended by Ms. Nahla Alanbar, Executive Personal Assistant to HRH the Chairman.
The meeting began as Mr. Asari thanked the Prince for giving him the opportunity to meet with him. Moreover, HRH and the Ambassador discussed a number of social and economic issues related to their respective countries. Mr. Asari described the living standards of the Nepalese people and said that approximately 70% were below the poverty line and thanked the government of Saudi Arabia for opening the doors for Nepalese workers in the country.
The ambassador proposed investment opportunities to Prince Alwaleed in light of the Prince's influential and global investments. The Nepalese ambassador said that there was a lack of significant investments in Nepal. The spectacular landscape and culture of Nepal represents considerable potential for tourism. Furthermore, Mr. Asari extended an invitation to His Highness to visit Nepal.
In response, Prince Alwaleed welcomed ideas for investment in Nepal and promised to visit the country in the near future. Moreover, the Prince thanked the ambassador for his visit and expressed his cordial regards to the government and people of the Nepal.
In conclusion to the meeting, the Nepalese Ambassador commended him on his many philanthropic activities, locally, regionally and internationally to people in need.
