Succession planning expert to conduct session in Qatar
Press Release Content
Mehmet Unal, the international HR consultant who led the preparations for the human resources planning and succession plans at Pepsi Cola International, Philip Morris and Coca-Cola, will be conducting a Succession Management session in Doha, Qatar.
Organized by Middle East Management Centre (MEMC), senior HR and Organizational Development managers from Qatar will get a chance to hear Unal share one of his breakthrough experiences with Pepsi Cola, Philip Morris, Coca Cola and Saudi Aramco as well as his consulting work with leading firms in the region.
According to Malek Zebib, MEMC Client Solutions Manager, “if you do not prepare the organization for tomorrow’s business challenges, your positive bottom line results will fade away."
"The workshop will present the case for succession management as a vital necessity for sustainable survival of organizations. It will also help you gain the understanding that succession management is not an HR tool, rather it is a business planning process," Malek explained.
Unal holds a BA degree in Business Administration from Istanbul University and a MSc. degree in Economic Research and Econometrics from the University of North Texas.
After leaving Coca-Cola in 2001, Unal started doing consulting work in management and human resources. He has personally led more than 30 major consultancy projects in the region during last 3 years.
The event will be held at the Intercontinental Hotel in Doha. Interested individuals can still make their reservations through info@memc.be for Europe and info@memrc.com for Middle East.
