Emirates Islamic Bank (EIB), in collaboration with Prodatainsight, JLT (Prodatainsight), held its mystery-shopping awards ceremony on November 12, 2009.
The event, which took place at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, commended those who reflected high levels of service excellence in the mystery-shopping project conducted exclusively by Prodatainsight for EIB from March to August 2009. “As a customer-centric organization, we always go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction, and I am sure that this initiative will help us maintain service excellence through our people,” explained Faisal Aqil, the general manager of EIB’s retail banking division.
During this project, Prodatainsight examined EIB’s various services and standards in all of the bank’s 31 branches in the U.A.E., its three direct sales offices and its call center. Based on its findings over the project’s six-month duration, Prodatainsight selected the highest scoring branch, Retail Banking Executive (RBE), Direct Sales Representative (DSR) and Call Center agent.
For six months, Prodatainsight presented each month’s findings to EIB following the study. “We conducted the fieldwork and data analysis in a month’s time and then presented findings to EIB during this period,” explained Anant Athawade, Prodatainsight’s regional business development manager.
Through Prodatainsight’s findings, Emirates Islamic Bank further strengthened its already exemplary standards, ranking and performance levels. “We hope to continue this partnership with EIB which is now considered one of the banking leaders in the region,” said Athawade.
Emirates Islamic Bank, launched in 2004, is one of the leading Islamic financial institutions in the region that offers Sharia’a-compliant products and services approved by a prestigious Sharia’a board. Prodatainsight, JLT, is a market research, below the line and management consultancies agency operational in Dubai and several countries in the Middle East, North Africa and South Asian regions.
