Mobily launches distinguished students programme

As a part of the company's social initiatives, Etihad Etisalat (Mobily) recently launched a special program for distinguished students by signing the first agreement of its kind with the Institute of Public Administration in Riyadh. This institution is considered as one of many educational establishments participating in the program. They all have the ultimate goal of refining youth education in KSA and supplying this generation with opportunities to join the Saudi labour market.
The agreement that comprises of Mobily's sponsorship of a number of students at the Institute of Public Administration was signed by both Dr. Abdulrahman Al Hijan, the Deputy Manager for Institute of Public Administration- Training and Dr. Fahad Al Zahrani, Deputy Chief HR Officer at Mobily. The program will include various activities in various regions under the umbrella of Mobily's social involvement program.
On this occasion, Dr. Abdulrahman Al Hijan pointed out the importance of this program in being the first step the company takes towards supporting deserving students. He added "we look forward towards this cooperation that is in the benefit of all parties". Doctor Fahad Al Zahrani assured that this exclusive program comes to support Mobily's plan to serve the Saudi community by encouraging the students to work harder and succeed, therefore creating opportunities for them. It will also initiate and maximize their skills to serve the Saudi labor market.
During the first phase of this program, Mobily will sponsor 60 students. Coming from different universities and educational institutions in the Kingdom, the students will have the chance to benefit from monthly rewards during their studies in addition to a priority pass for training at the company's facilities. Upon graduation, these students will have the opportunity to work for Mobily and be awarded a signing bonus once their contract has been signed.
