ETA wins One Business Bay contract

Emirates Trading Agency (ETA) Mechanical & Electrical Division is to complete the MEP installation at One Business Bay.

The Omniyat Properties development currently under construction in Dubai’s Business Bay District comprises a 30-storey commercial tower.
Phase one of the development has recently been completed. This involved the preliminary enablement works and was carried out by Dutco Balfour Beatty. “We decided to package the construction of the project in order to speed up the erection process and deliver on time,” explains Mehdi Amjad, president and CEO of Omniyat Properties.

Emirates Belbadi Contracting  has been appointed as the main contractor for the project in a contract valued at US $54.5 million(AED200 million). Construction of One Business Bay is scheduled to complete in the second quarter of 2008.
