Tabreed ties up for AD cooling

Tabreed has entered into a joint venture with Abu Dhabi-based Aldar Properties to build 25 new district cooling plants in the UAE capital. The deals are worth US $3 billion (AED11 billion).

The joint venture - A&T Cool - will have a capital equity investment of around $800 million.
A&T's cooling plants will be capable of generating cooling capacity of around 1.5TR over the next five years, with a provision to double capacity in the future.

They will provide district cooling for all Aldar's developments, including Central Market, Al Raha Gardens, Al Raha Beach and Yas Island.
