Al Habtoor wins Kempinski deal

Al Habtoor Engineering has been appointed as the main contractor on the US $272 million (AED1 billion) Kempinski Palm Jumeirah Residences and Hotel.

The project will cover almost 100,000m2 and will be located on the crescent-shaped breakwater surrounding Nakheel's Palm Jumeirah.
It will be made up of two seven-storey buildings: the Kempinski Palm Jumeirah Residences and the Kempinski Hotel Emerald Palace.

"This partnership between Emerald Palace Group, Al Habtoor as main contractor and Kempinski as operator will soon allow residence owners and hotel guests to experience the most luxurious and unique product on the eighth wonder of the world," said Nver Mkhitaryan, chairman, Emerald Palace Group.
