Egypt central bank opts for Oracle

The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) is implementing Oracle's E-Business Suite Human Resource Management System (HRMS) to provide it with a single view of all staff data.

Under the agreement, the bank is rolling out the Payroll, Time and Labour, Human Resources (HR), Daily Business Intelligence for HR, Self Service HR, and Learning Management modules of HRMS.
"As there was no single repository in place for crucial employee data, the valuation process became complicated and almost impossible, considering our large number of employees," said Tarek Raouf, sub. governor of CBE.
