Al Awtan takes Damac project

Damac Properties has appointed Al Awtan Contracting as the main contractor for its US $46 million (AED172 million) Emirates Gardens-1 project at Jumeirah Village South.

Shoring and excavation works will be completed by IFG in the first week of July, with construction beginning soon after and taking 19 months.
Emirates Gardens-1 will be spread over 69,677m2 and will have a mixture of studios, one and two bedroom apartments and retail facilities.

Earlier this week, Damac also appointed Intermass Engineering and Contracting Company as the main contractor for its LAGO VISTA project at International Media Production Zone.

The contract involves the construction of 696 studios, 36 one-bedroom and 264 two-bedroom apartments along with retail facilities.
