Nakheel unveils Jumeirah Heights residences

UAE real estate developer Nakheel on Wednesday launched its newest residential community in Jumeirah.

The self-contained Jumeirah Heights property will be made up of about 2,300 residences - including open-plan apartments, lofts, duplexes and townhouses - and is set to become home to some 11,000 people.
The property is located just off Dubai's Sheikh Zayed Road, between Jumeirah Islands and Jumeirah Lake Towers communities, with residences set across 20 hectares of land.

Construction on the project began in May 2007 and it is set to be completed in 2010.

According to the company, the project represents one of the best opportunities to buy a home in Dubai's Jumeirah district, particularly for buyers taking their first steps onto the property ladder.

"The key aim with Jumeirah Heights is to provide choice - both in terms of the variety of residences on offer and the financing options," said Mohammed bin Ghannam, Jumeirah Heights' senior manager.

"Jumeirah Heights will bring people who have been looking for a different kind of product to Jumeirah."

The property is divided into three distinct areas - The Village Centre, The Fronds and The Clusters.

In the first stage of development, the Village Centre contains two mid-rise buildings, consisting of almost 650 apartments and a variety of retail and leisure facilities.

The two fronds will each consist of two mid-rise apartment buildings and 17 townhouses.

The two clusters are each set to house three low rise apartment buildings boasting two and three bedroom loft apartments with private gardens. Both the fronds and the clusters will offer a variety of leisure facilities.

The general sales launch will take place in the following few weeks. A wide range of finance options will be available with Loan to Value ratios of up to 90-95%.
