Culligan wins Burj Dubai water contract
Culligan International (Emirates) has won a contract to supply water treatment products for the Burj Dubai following a global competitive tender competition.
The Company will provide 1524mm (60 inch) Multimedia Filters for drinking water in addition to equipment and chemicals to treat the chilled water distribution system used for the building’s air conditioning. Deliveries are expected to take place during 2007.
Joint venture partners BESIX, Samsung and Arabtec recently celebrated the completion of the 80th floor, the highest level to date for a concrete structure in the Middle East. The project is scheduled for completion by the end of 2008, with the final height expected to be over 800m.
MEP works are being carried out in a joint venture contract by ETA, Voltas and Hitachi.
