South Korea’s Doosan Heavy Industries clinches US$1.2 billion deal to build Dubai power plant.
Fisia Italimpianti, the plant and environmental services arm of Italian construction firm Impregilo has won a US $563 million (AED 2.7 billion) contract to build a seawater desalination plant in Dubai's Jebel Ali.
The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has awarded contracts to build nine main 132/11 kV power transformer stations. The contracts also include the installation of transmission cabling.
