UAE, Spain in money laundering talks

A delegation from the UAE Central Bank has concluded an official visit to Madrid, where they discussed ways to enhance cooperation with their Spanish counterparts to combat money laundering and terrorism financing.

According to WAM, the delegation, led by Central Bank Governor Sultan bin Nassir Al Suwayed, met with senior officials from the Spanish ministries of trade, economy, finance and justice, along with senior banking officials.
It was the second stop in the delegation’s European tour, after Italy, which will take it to Portugal, France and the UK for similar talks.
