Emirates Thermostone has been awarded contracts worth US $3.3 million (AED12.3 million) to supply Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) construction materials to three developments in Dubai.

The company will provide a combined 48,000m3 of AAC blocks to The Lake Shore Tower 1 at Jumeirah Lake Towers, a cluster of 29 buildings at Dubai International City Phase 1, and the Marina Apartments on the Palm Jumeirah.
The firm will also supply 11,000m3 of AAC blocks to the 44-storey Lake Shore Tower 1, which is being built by Pivot Engineering.

The Dubai International City towers, whose main contractor is Ghantoot Gulf Contracting, will require 15,000m3 of ACC blocks, while 22,000m3 will be provided to the Palm Jumeirah Marina Apartments, which are being built by Shimizu Corporation.

Emirates Thermostone, a subsidiary of M'sharie, the private equity arm of Dubai Investments, launched a second production line for AAC technology in April this year.
