DWTC glams up for Consumer Electronics

DWTC, organisers of GITEX, will be turning the spotlight on gadgets this year by running for the first time ever a ‘Gadget Glam' show.

Gadget Glam, which will take place in the Consumer Electronics division of the show, will consist of two elements: a Gizmo showcase and a Tech Walk fashion show.
Whilst keeping the names of the actual products set to feature firmly under wraps, DWTC did reveal that the Tech Walk will give a glimpse of some yet-to-launch hot products for the region, while Gizmo Showcase will focus more on product innovations.

"Gadget Glam will amaze our tech-savvy visitors with the exciting line-up of cutting-edge consumer gadgets and product releases on display," DWTC director general Helal Saeed Al Marri said.

Mobile phones, MP3 players, HD cameras and LCDs are all likely to feature at the HP-sponsored event.
