ADAC appoints new director

by Rob Morris

Airport developer ADAC has bolstered its board by appointing Mohammed Al Bulooki as director for marketing and communications.

The new recruit joins Abu Dhabi Airports Company, which is redeveloping the UAE capital's hub, from Etihad Airways. He will be responsible for network and fleet planning, and helping oversee development of Abu Dhabi Airport's Terminal 3.
In his previous role, Al Bulooki was in charge of corporate sales and business development for the airline's London office. He also headed the corporate planning and strategy department, and worked as sales manager at Royal Jet.

"This is an exciting time for ADAC as it prepares to open terminal three and finalise plans for the new airport," Al Bulooki said. "The aviation sector in Abu Dhabi is set for huge growth and I look forward to contributing to that success."

ADAC chairman and managing director Khalifa Al Mazrouei believes hiring Al Bulooki is a shrewd appointment. "His experience will strengthen the top team at ADAC and help us attract more airlines to our airports at Abu Dhabi and Al Ain," he said.
