Aldar to develop mall in Al Ruwais

Abu Dhabi-based Aldar Properties is set to build a US $136 million (AED500 million) double-storey shopping centre in the industrial city of Al Ruwais.

Geddes Architects is the designer while the local consultant is Altourth Engineering.
According to a company spokesperson, reclamation work has begun but the main construction is expected to begin this summer.

The project is expected to be completed in 2010. The contracting process is currently ongoing with the main construction package expected to be awarded next month. The centre will cover an area of 40,000m².
