Dubai Bank aims to achieve 30 percent Emiratisation by the end of the year as part of its commitment to national careers, it said in a stamten on Saturday.

The target was announced by Salaam Al Shaksy, CEO of the bank as he accepted the Human Resources Development Award 2009 at a ceremony at the 11th National Career Exhibition in Sharjah.
“As a responsible corporate citizen Dubai Bank has always strived to hire and develop the best local talent,” he said.

“Our success is reflected in the substantial number of UAE nationals that have already joined our ranks. We continue to provide excellent opportunities for professional and personal growth and this event gives us the opportunity to reach out to the best UAE national students, helping us meet our 2009 goal of 30 per cent Emiratisation.” Al Shaksy added.

The bank runs the Ruwaad Leadership Programme which is a comprehensive strategic management course, specifically designed to train and enhance the skill sets of talented UAE graduates keen on building a career in the banking and finance sector.
