Arabtec wins sewerage contract

Arabtec Engineering Services is to carry out stormwater drainage and sewerage system work in Dubai World Central at Jebel Ali International Airport.

The Department of Civil Aviation  in Dubai appointed the firm under a contract worth US $132 million (AED487 million). Works  will comprise the supply and installation of the underground utilities for Dubai World Central. This includes the networks for stormwater, sewerage and pumping stations. The project is expected to last 18 months.
