More than 30 highway projects for a total value of US$27.5bn are expected to be awarded in Qatar this year, according to construction industry tracker MEED.

So far in 2013 US$1.8bbn contracts in road contracts have been handed out, with UAE’s Al Jaber Group concluding a US$640m deal for package 13 on the Doha Expressway.
