Rain and thunder storms are expected to hit parts of the UAE in the coming three days, according to the Meteorology Department of the National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS).

The centre revealed towering clouds, thunder, and rain over areas of the state starting tonight until Friday, with reports of temperatures as low as 18.4 degrees Celsius recorded on Jebel Jais in Ras Al Khaimah.

According to the NCMS, the weather conditions are due to a low pressure system moving across the Gulf, during which the country will experience lows of 21 and highs of 30 degrees Celsius.

The public is advised to take care against fast winds which will result in dust and poor visibility.

Current temperatures in the capital is 32 degrees Celsius with 45 percent humidity and mostly cloudy skies.
