Oman's largest mall set to open in September

Al Araimi Boulevard will feature the country's biggest food court, largest glass atrium and the largest skylight

Al Araimi Boulevard, touted as Oman’s largest shopping, entertainment and lifestyle destination, is set to open later this year, it has been announced.

Al Raid Group said that the construction of the mall in Seeb is "well underway" and will be completed in time for a September opening.

With 70,500 sq m of space to be leased out, Al Araimi Boulevard will accommodate the "finest collection of labels from around the world", the company said in a statement.

It added that entertainment options will include a cinema, an interactive wall and kinetic lighting displays, as well as the largest Kid’s World in Oman.

The mall will also feature the biggest food court, the largest glass atrium and the largest skylight measuring 5,190 sq m.

Sheikh Raid Abdullah Al Araimi, vice chairman of Al Raid Group said: “Al Araimi Boulevard will set new standards in the retail sector. It is being built on a completely futuristic design and concept, that will redefine the way people shop, relax and get entertained.

"Al Araimi Boulevard is expected to generate over 2,000 direct and indirect job opportunities to the local workforce and will be a one-of-its-kind experience for anyone and everyone.”
