Canadian comic Russell Peters is to return to the UAE next month for a one-off show at Abu Dhabi’s Yas Island on October 23.

The comedian, ranked as one of the top five best entertainers in the US by Forbes, will perform at the UAE capital’s du Arena as part of his Notorious World Tour.

Last year, organiser Flash Entertainment added a second Dubai date to Peters’ tour after tickets for an initial show sold out within an hour of going on sale.

Tickets for the Abu Dhabi performance will go on sale from September 23 and are available from www.ticketmaster.ae or www.thinkflash.ae.

Russell Peters was hilarious......in 2002. He has recycled the same routine for the past decade. If I hear "someone gonna get hurt real bad" again......ugh. Let me guess, he's adding another cultural stereotype this year to shake it up. Saw him at a small club in Montreal back in 2006 (Comedy Nest) and it was the exact same routine that ran across Canada on CBC for years. I heard that he packs them in, in Dubai when he comes but just because of his popularity with the Indian demographic. I'll await reviews.
