Ski Dubai launches zip line attraction

The Snow Bullet propels guests through 150 metres above the manmade ski slope

Ski Dubai has introduced its latest unique attraction, a zip line called The Snow Bullet.

The ride runs 16 metres off the snowcapped grounds, and propels guests through 150 metres across the breadth of Ski Dubai’s hills, while skiers and snowboarders navigate the slopes below.

The Snow Bullet can accommodate two people simultaneously on its dual track, and guests can compete against each other as they race in sub-zero temperatures.

The Snow Bullet costs AED150 ($41), which entitles you to two runs, or as part of the AED300 PowerPass ticket, which also gives access to the Snow Park, Zorbing in a giant transparent ball and the snow penguin enclosure.

“Who would have imagined that it would be possible to soar above a ski resort in the desert, and yet, here we are. 2014 is all set to be a definitive year for us as we forge ahead with the pioneering vision of Majid Al Futtaim and continue to enthrall guests, while creating great moments,” commented Omar El Banna, marketing and sales director at Majid Al Futtaim Leisure & Entertainment.

There won't be anyone actually skiing there soon, only snowboarders, these ski bulleteers, and penguin lovers. Time for a renaming?!
