Commenting on the unexpected free PR windfall, Al Tech Grou’s Ashank Pai explained: “My father, brother and myself are all in the business and we have a number of small businesses in India and Dubai, mostly in the technology area. We have never ventured into any PR activities before, because as tech people, we’ve had other priorities for our budgets and never been clear on what the returns would be – it’s a bit of an unknown quantity for us. I am excited at what this PR boost can help us set in motion.”
Pai is already clear on his desired outcomes from his collaboration with Jensen Matthews PR, which is to raise the profile of the business and attract more funding for growth.
Speaking after her PR win, Tahawal’s Irina Cobanu said: “This is really great for us because we are a start-up and we know we need to get to grips better with PR and how this field works, so that we can learn and manage our own PR approach going forward. It will be a great education opportunity for us.”
Lama Kabbani, the Loomi Photography owner, was also delighted at the opportunity to harness the potential of the PR package, echoing the sentiments of her fellow start-up winners.
Arabian Business StartUp magazine will profile all three winning companies in the next issues and report on their progress during and after their PR experience.
