“Interest in the United Arab Emirates accommodations ... has increased 15 percent year-on- year, confirming United Arab Emirates as a desired destination by travellers around the world,” said Dan Cross, territory manager of business listings.

The USA took the number one spot as the fastest growing inbound tourism market for UAE accommodations, with a 21 percent increase since 2011. This was closely followed by Australia and the UK, proving that both countries are a vital source of tourism for the UAE.

One in five travellers researching accommodations in the UAE on TripAdvisor is British, which is a ten percent increase from last year.
