The Al Muhaidib Group was founded by the late Abdulkader Al Muhaidib, and is now run by his sons, Sulaiman, Emad and Essam. For more than 60 years, the firm has diversified into food industry, with interests and partnerships with Savola, Azizia Panda, Nestle and Del Monte, building materials and supplies, industry; finance, property, contracting and energy. This year, the firm’s contracting arm completed King Abdullah Sports City (pictured), which contains the biggest stadium in the Gulf. The group also owns stakes in 30 other companies, including Saudi British Bank (SAAB) and developer Al Oula. The three brothers’ 14 percent collective stake in Savola forms a major part of their wealth.
