Three Qatari soldiers killed in Yemen

Military announces Gulf state’s biggest loss of life since it began ops in September 2015 \n

Three Qatari
soldiers have been killed in Yemen, the country’s military has said.

In a statement
posted on state news agency QNA, the Qatar Armed Forces said that the soldiers
had been part of the Saudi-led Arab coalition’s Operation Restore Hope in the
Arabian Peninsula nation.

The soldiers were
named as Mohammed Awadh Salem, Mohammed Dawood Khayal and Mohammed Nasser Mohammed.

No details about
their deaths were released.

It is Qatar’s
biggest loss of life since the Gulf state began operations in Yemen in
September last year.

The bodies are
being flown back to Qatar and will be buried in Musaimeer cemetery today.
