A new list of the top SMEs to work for in the UAE has been revealed by Great Place To Work (GPTW).

The Human resource management consultancy group announced the top companies at an awards ceremony in association with Dubai SME, naming Biz-group as the number one SME to work for in the UAE.

Management consultancy firm Biz-group identifies itself as a ‘biz-family’ on its website, citing trust as one of the main reasons it maintains a strong team.

Hazel Cowling, partner and consultant director at Biz-group, said the company was “hugely exhilarated” to be put at the top of the list, which also featured Emitac Healthcare Solutions, Leminar, Dabo & Co, Eton Institute, and Paramount Computer Systems.

Employees of the 6,000 companies who took part in the GPTW list were surveyed on a Trust Index, compiling their opinions of their workplace.

GPTW also examines each company’s management policies, and runs a Culture Audit before grading each of them based on the results.
