Danat Hotels & Resorts announces management takeover of Mercure City Centre Hotel in UAE capital

Danat Hotels & Resorts has announced the successful management takeover of Mercure City Centre Hotel in Abu Dhabi.

The hotel will now operate as Novel Hotel City Center, a new brand by Danat Hotels & Resorts, the upscale hotel division of the National Corporation for Tourism & Hotels (NCT&H).

In operation since 1979, the 215-room hotel is located in the heart of Abu Dhabi’s business district. Novel Hotel City Center features facilities including dining and nightlife venues, conference and event spaces including a ballroom, and amenities such as swimming pool and gym.

“We are delighted to add another city hotel to our rapidly expanding Danat Hotels & Resorts portfolio in UAE. Novel Hotel City Center is a perfect choice for travelers coming to the capital on business or leisure. By aligning with our Danat brands, Novel Hotel City Center will benefit our brand essence that is enjoyed by our current guests,” said Manoj Kanwal, Danat operations director.

Danat Hotels & Resorts is the upscale hotel division of the National Corporation for Tourism and Hotels.

The Danat portfolio includes Danat Jebel Dhanna Resort, Danat Al Ain Resort and Al Raha Beach Hotel.
