UAE announces Milad Al Nabi holiday

All private and public sector employees will be granted paid leave on Jan 24

UAE authorities have confirmed a public and private sector holiday on Thursday, January 24 to celebrate Milad Al Nabi, the birthday of the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH).

All private and public sector employees will be given paid holiday for the day. Work will resume on Sunday, January 27, authorities said in comments published on state news agency WAM.
