Here we go again, another iPhone launch followed by a slew of luxury golden versions aimed at Arab consumers.

Gold & Co London has given the iPhone 6 the Midas touch and claims to have already sold over 100 units before they hit the market.

“People have gone crazy. We’ve been receiving desperate calls from the UAE for the last two weeks - everyone says they want to be first to have it,” Amjad Ali, CEO of Gold & Co London, told Dubai-based 7DAYS newspaper.

The 24 carat gold-plated Limited Edition iPhone 6 was especially created for the UAE market and comes in both yellow and rose gold renditions which sell for AED,18,000 – AED 21,000 ($4,905-$5,722).

Less than 150 units remain from the 250 limited productions. The bedazzled piece will be available on September 21 in Dubai Mall’s Arab and The Collector’s Palace.
