Egypt’s Sisi to run for president

The man who led the coup to remove Morsi from Egypt’s presidency has announced he will run for the position himself. Abdel Fattah el-Sisi has resigned from his role as chief of the armed forces, ahead of presidential elections which are expected next month.

The fragile finances of Formula One
