Artists are threatening to boycott the biggest contemporary art festival in the Asia Pacific region unless its main financial sponsor is dropped. The Sydney Biennale exhibition in Australia has Transfield as its primary sponsor – the company which runs Australia’s camps for asylum seekers in Papua New Guinea.
