Smart companies are using social networking not just as a marketing tool but as a driver for business, Nokia’s head of digital marketing has told Arabian Business TV.
Successful use of social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter can be used to improve business, Arto Joensuu, head of digital marketing, MEA for Nokia, said.
“I think [what’s interesting] when brands that really immerse themselves in that space, they are immersing across these different functions. They are actually driving social as a part of their business instead of seeing it as a bus generator….They are really driving their business through social,” he said.
