Jade Rabbit lands on moon

China has successfully landed a spacecraft on the moon, as the Jade Rabbit lunar rover touched down. The unarmed rover is designed to search for minerals, and its landing represents a significant milestone in China’s ambition to establish a space station on the moon in the 2020s.
