The Pakistani government says it is reviewing ‘every aspect’ of its relationship with the US following the killing of the Taliban’s leader in a drone strike. The death of Hakimullah Mehsud also represents the death of the nascent peace talks which the government were hoping would improve conditions in the country.

The Pakistani Taliban has claimed responsibility for a bomb attack targeting a polio vaccination team. The blast in Peshawar killed two people, and injured many more. The attack comes after the Pakistani Taliban revealed it is receiving financial help from its Afghan counterparts.
