DSF Master of Fragrances exhibition will showcase the world's most expensive perfumes
The world exclusive fragrance exhibition, Masters of Fragrances, is taking place this year at Abu Dhabi’s Manarat Al Saadiyat Gallery, where 22 globally renowned brands will create a selection of 26 one-of-a-kind fragrances.
From Dior to Thierry Mugler and Bvlgari, fragrances ranging from $35,000 to half a million dollars a bottle will be on display.
The star of the exhibition will be showcased by Guerlain and sold for a cool AED2m ($544,514).
Le Secret de la Reine by Guerlin features over 14 carats worth of diamonds, rock crystal, mounted on platinum and involved over 500 hours of work devoted to drawing, cutting, polishing, setting and assembling.
The olfactory substance held in the bee shaped bottle is composed of solid perfume and can be filled with the fragrance of your choice.
“Masters of Fragrances is sure to become one of the most exciting events in the fragrance world. Clients will experience a collection of bespoke and never-before-seen offerings from the foremost fragrance houses and meet the esteemed leaders in the industry,” said Mr Philippe Schaus, Chairman & CEO, DFS Group.
The Masters of Fragrances exhibit will unfold in two parts: A private invitation-only gala event on April 10 at the Manarat Al Saadiyat Gallery followed by the exhibition of the fragrances at Abu Dhabi International Airport Terminal 1 where they will reside till June 12, 2014, offering travelers the opportunity to enjoy the creative presentation and shop the exclusive collection.
